Rebecca Boss, MS, MPAS, PA-C
Rebecca “Becca” Boss is a board-certified physician assistant licensed to practice in Texas. Becca was born in Dallas and raised in Lubbock. She completed her undergraduate education in 2013 at Texas Tech with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and biology with magna cum laude honors. As an undergraduate she was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa national honor society, awarded to few students within the top ten percent of their class who demonstrate outstanding scholarly achievement, cultural and intellectual interests, and good character. Becca chose to further explore her appreciation for science and problem-solving by obtaining a Master of Science in Cognitive Neuroscience from UT Dallas in 2016. While finalizing this program, she worked as a medical records assistant and completed a patient-based research internship which led her to the path of pursuing a career in healthcare. In 2019, she graduated from UNT Health Science Center’s Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) program in Fort Worth, Texas. It was during this training that she became intrigued with dermatology because of its intricacies, interdisciplinary nature, and intertwining of daily life.
Becca spent her first several years as a physician assistant working in surgical specialties across Dallas. She transitioned into the field of dermatology and has practiced dermatology in the north Dallas area for numerous years. She is thrilled to continue dermatologic care at Westlake Dermatology’s University Park Dallas location.
Becca is dedicated to prioritizing patient education, developing personalized treatment plans, and creating a comfortable, welcoming and supportive environment for all. She is a member of Texas Society of Dermatology Professional Associates and the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates, through which she is working towards a diplomate fellowship. Outside of work, you will find Becca listening to music, gardening / caring for her houseplants, spending time with her dogs, or indulging in something artistic.
